The International Quantum Structure Association (IQSA) is pleased to announce that the next Biennial IQSA Conference Quantum Structures'06 will take place in Malta, in July 9-14, 2006.The conference continues the successful meetings which took place in

It is organized by
- IQSA
- Mathematical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovakia
- University of Malta.
Scope
The objective of the Conference is to encourage communication between researchers throughout the world whose research is related to
- quantum structures and their applications in mathematics
- quantum mechanics
- quantum measurements
- quantum computation
- philosophy of quantum mechanics
- quantum probability
- etc.

Conference Hall & Equipment
There will be a main conference hall and a small lecture room for parallel session during the conference. In both of them there are:
- Data Projector,
- Overhead Projector and
- Flipchart.
All electrical sockets in Malta are English type and the voltage is 240 V.

FULL DAY ROUND MALTA 360 MOTOR & SAILING CRUISE

Set sail for a wonderfully relaxing full day cruise aboard the M/S Hera II, a magnificent
twin mast, fully rigged 32 metre Gullet. Departing Sliema Ferries at 09.00Hrs, the yacht heads
out past Malta's capital city Valletta, Fort St.Elmo and the Grand Harbour entrance. Our Guide
on-board will point out all the historically important spots for your interest. Cruising
southwards, towards Delimara Point, one can observe the thorough beauty of the South and also
catch a glimpse of Hasan's Cave, Pretty Bay and Filfla. Dingli Cliff's offer spectacular views
of Malta's untouched beauty, the breeding grounds of Malta's National bird (Blue Rock Thrush)
found on all our LM1 coins and the chance to admire the imposing cliff sides.
A typical Maltese mid-morning snack will also be served. A particular attraction not to be missed is the Blue Grotto and Popeye Village where one has the chance to take memorable photos. The cruise also takes you past Malta's sandy beaches, namely Gnejna, Golden Bay and also Paradise Bay.
M/S Hera II will then stop at the Blue Lagoon in Comino, were our Stewards will serve a lavish buffet including complimentary wine, water & soft Drinks. The lunch consists of the following items: Three Cold Meat Cuts, Pasta Salad, Rice Salad, Cucumber Salad, Tomatoes in Olive Oil & Garlic, Typical Maltese Caponata, Bread Rolls & Butter, White Beans with Garlic, Lettuce Salad, Olives, Russian Salad, Potatoes with Parsley, Cabbage Salad, Tuna Salad & Cheese & Crackers.
Following lunch, fresh fruit will be served; with the rest of the afternoon entirely at leisure taking advantage of Hera II's numerous on-board facilities. These include amongst others, full use of our Snorkeling Equipment, Sun Mats, Fresh Water Showers and Cabins (Extra Charge). Late afternoon we depart Comino and cruise/sail past the picturesque hilltop village of Mellieha, St. Paul's Islands and St. Julian's Bay. As your cruise draws to an end, complimentary typical Maltese biscuits are served on our return to Sliema at approximately 17.30Hrs.
Hera Cruises wishes also to recommend our optional speedboat/luzzu tours of caves & inlets around
Comino/Cominotto, which are available at a small fee and can be purchased directly from the crew
on-board the vessel.
(This is a sailing cruise; however sails will be used according to the prevailing weather
conditions.)

Instructions for speakers
Abstracts, of one page length, must be prepared in LaTeX and submitted by e-mail to dvurecen@mat.savba.sk.
The abstracts (including title, name, address, e-mail address) will be referred by the members of the Scientific Committee, and the authors are asked to indicate the length of the talk (general lectures are preferably surveys). The referees will make final decisions about acceptance, whether oral or poster presentation as well as the length of the talks. We recall that the acceptance of an abstract does not guarantee the acceptance of the paper in the Proceedings volume.
