Fourth-Order Nonlinear Neutral Difference Equations: Oscillation via New Canonical Transforms
Abstract
This paper presents a new method of transforming fourth-order nonlinear semi-canonical neutral difference equations into canonical type equations. This technique reduces the set of nonoscillatory solutions to only two. By eliminating these two remaining types of nonoscillatory solutions, the authors are able to obtain new criteria for the oscillation of all solutions of the equation under investigation. Examples are provided to show the significance and novelty of the main results.
