The inclusion-exclusion principle without distributivity
Abstract
Inspired by the article of P. Grzegorzewski [3], who has worked two generalizations
of the inclusion-exclusion principle for IF-events, I present here a generalization
of the inclusion-exclusion principle for mappings with values in semigroups.
The main idea is in disregarding the distributivity and idempotency law, and instead
assuming only one axiom.
